A sample of "The Beating"

I’ve been working on a new song for November and it’s a LOT of fun. I’m still amazed at how much I can do with the stock plugins and instruments that came with Logic 9 back in… holy cow, 2009? Wow.

Since the last tune, Good Riddance, was a harder rock sound than I usually create, it shouldn’t surprise you that this one’s somewhat similar. In fact, there are a couple of Fucks in this one, so don’t play it for the kids.

Unless your kids are punks, then game on.

This is just a sample of the current state of the song. If you’ve been following me for a while, you know that the final release may be totally different… hell, there may be accordions and zithers in there if it feels right. Treat this like a snapshot.
