Birds of Kalacria - April 2017
You may want to re-read the last section before continuing onward. It’s been a while since I’ve been able to resume the narrative, but Lord knows I’ve had characters living in my head waiting to be let out.
And Miriam is becoming an unexpected gem of a character, at least for me. In previous attempts at writing this book, I stuck to the stodgy old single-omnipotent-narrator-in-past-tense perspective. Miriam gives me a lot of liberty to move in and out of the story in ways that, hopefully, make the book more enjoyable.
