Birds of Kalacria - November 2016

Welcome to my little world I’ve been living in for twenty years.

This is the prologue for the new novel… it might feel a little disjointed, but don’t worry. It might become coherent after a few hundred pages.

I gotta say, I’m going way out on a limb even attempting this. I’ve been toiling at the outline and a mind-numbing quantity of background data for weeks now. In fact, I’ve even set up a private wiki to keep my thoughts straight.

I’d give you access, but I wouldn’t want to spoil the plot just yet. Maybe if y’all have a bunch of questions, I’ll leak some details in the form of a free short story.

In any case, I’ve attached the first 1,950 words as a PDF. If there’s a better format for me to use, let me know. This is just the easiest way for me to export from Google Docs direct to your eyeballs.
