Drive Away – Officer’s Club Edition
This one I had to treat very well, for it was the song that put me on many, many people’s radar. Fortunately, I’ve learned a lot in the ten years since this was originally recorded.
Hopefully, I’ve done her justice.
Runtt certainly did a hell of a job on the drums (not that Andrew Dickson didn’t, his work was phenomenal… but the digital drum kit wasn’t ideal). I am really loving how this one came out, and every time I do my own mixing I learn how to make the drums sound just a little bit better than the last.
One of these days I’ll actually get good at this. Anyhoo… enjoy!
