Learning To Play The Songs I Write

If you’ve ever wondered what’s involved in turning a fully-produced album track into something that two guys can perform live on stage, here’s how I do it. Well, part of it, anyway.

This is one of the difficulties of writing songs with many parts and only having two hands to re-create them. Watch as I take one small, remarkably difficult part of a single song and break it down into sections that have to be assembled flawlessly during a live show.
