This one’s for one of my longest-running fans who’s brought me happiness, friendship, and even coffee. Really effing good coffee.
He requested a piece done for his Eve character, and all I could think of was something Daft-Punk-meets-Space-Dandy-in-space. Don’t ask me why. But I imagine a hard working girl trying to survive in the unyielding black of the galaxy.
There’s the happy grind, the wonder of discovery, the tragic catastrophe, and the recovery.
You know, there might even be a little Chick Corea influence in there too, but don’t quote me on that.
