The theme for this year was “Canadian Invasion.” And boy did they deliver. The crowd was energetic, the sound was fantastic, and I partied hard for three straight days. I can’t wait for next year’s IFC…

Also, for the record, I need a better keytar. This thing has been fun to work with, but the Alesis Vortex Wireless II is basically a toy. EVERY show I’ve played outside my studio has suffered constant glitches and timing issues, probably because its wireless system is junk.
If anybody’s got a recommendation for a good, compact keytar MIDI controller, I’m all ears. I haven’t found one yet. 🙁
