This one’s another dance tune. As I prep for TFF this weekend and run the Kickstarter campaign and handle the mixing process with Benny, somehow I managed to find time for new music.
I wrote this one over the last few days as we received a massive dump of snow. It’s beautiful, but at the same time it tore down power lines all over the city and froze too quickly to be any good for skiing.
It came, we froze, and slowly we’re digging ourselves back out again. We’ll persevere.
One of the things I hear in a lot of Trance music is an unchanging bass line. I’ve never tried that before, so I gave it a shot with this one. I also figured out I could use this song to transition into “Night Train” for potential live performances. So if you recognize a familiar melody in there at the end, that’s why!
