Stay With Me

For nearly three years now I’ve tried— and mostly failed —to generate a modern Trance sound. If you’re a fan of Above & Beyond, you know what I’m talking about. There’s a certain SOUND that they make, and that’s the sound that inspired me to attempt dance music in the first place.

Well… I think I’ve finally approximated that sound quite well. In fact, I may try my hand at a LOT MORE stuff like this, now that I’ve gotten better at it.

The fact is that this genre lends itself VERY well to my… moodier lyrics. Even though modern Trance is largely an uplifting sound, it’s all very serious and epic. So I guess it makes sense with these lyrics…

NOTE: The properly-mastered version is now here! I’m leaving the pre-master version so you can actually compare if you want to. The difference may be subtle to most, but it really is worth the wait (and the money) to have some professional-grade ears work on the final mixes.

UPDATE: I’m not sure how both Oddy and I missed this, but the radio version… had NO VOCALS. Re-download if you wanna hear how it’s SUPPOSED to sound…
