Sun Dance
Picture a circle of creatures on a hilltop at dawn. Are they birds? Men? Robots? Something in between? It’s unimportant… what matters is that as soon as the first light cracks through the cold air, they dance.
This is not a carefree frolic, either; these creatures move with purpose and determination. Every morning they must perform, otherwise the sun may hide all day long. It might send them rain or snow if they fail. Sometimes it vanishes entirely, leaving them in darkness when the day should be bright.
So they dance to keep the warm sun on their side.
Side note: Alright, we’ve had enough snow and rain for one year… can we just bypass spring and move on to summer now?
Also… once again, Oddy’s mastering has made me very, very happy. If he’s making you happy too, let him know.
