Tennessee Never Cried – Officer’s Club Edition
The new song I’m working on right now is more orchestral than anything I’ve tried before. With that fresh under my producer hat, I decided to re-do this song with two versions.
Back in 2004 when I wrote this, I actually hoped to find a local string quartet I could borrow to play behind the piano. Unfortunately, musicians like to be paid… and talented string players in Nashville get paid a lot. And I was a po’-ass musician back then.
So this month you’re getting a remixed, remastered version of Tennessee Never Cried as it was on Beer & Coffee and how I heard it in my head all these years. Not sure which I like better, to be honest, but thanks to the miracle of Patreon, you now get both!
