Patreon just sent me their “year in review” stats and… wow. Apparently I’m “more active than 95% of the Patreon community”? Really? I always figured I neglected you guys.

Seriously, though, thank you for making 2016 a banner year for me. It may not always show… I only played a handful of live concerts and didn’t release a new album. Much of the good news has been “under-the-hood” as they say.

Your support has nearly dug me out of a debt hole that took a decade to dig.

Your support has given me the freedom to explore some new sounds and figure out where to go next.

Despite not releasing a new album, your support is directly responsible for creating the next album’s material. And you’ve got all the demo versions already.

I think 2017 is going to be alright, even though it’s gonna be a lot of work.

And I plan to chatter just as much— if not more —than I did in 2016.
