It makes me so sad to see our potential as a species— walking on the moon, 3D-printing new body parts, Tide Pods —and yet we are held back by such petty differences.
Skin color, opinions on the supernatural, money, driving ability… all these things just drag us down like that gargoyle that killed the Joker. (You know which one I mean, dammit.)
Every one of us who’s into sci-fi can see a thrilling future that is, in fact, possible. And it’s so frustrating to feel the chains of trivial adversity holding us down. We can all go somewhere magical.
Together.
